Aerial Boundaries - Loris Cecchini
30 April-1 July 2012
On the occasion of Florence White Night on 30 April 2012, the Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi presents a new site-specific installation by Italian artist, Loris Cecchini, consisting of a group of large suspended sculptural shapes that will create a new dialogue with the perfect geometrical shapes of Palazzo Strozzi, a symbol of the Florentine Renaissance.
During the week of Monday, April 23rd to Sunday, April 29th, you can come see the behind the scenes set up of the installation in the courtyard, which will remain open to the public as usual. While the artist and the Palazzo Strozzi staff will be working, you will be able to witness the transformation of the courtyard and see how the work will grow day by day.
The installation is made possible with the support of J.P. Morgan and thanks to the collaboration of the Associazione Partners Palazzo Strozzi.
