A Thousand and One Tales of Americans in Florence

A Thousand and One Stories of Americans in Florence is the activity for families that exploits the narrative potential of artworks. How many stories can be invented from the paintings of the exhibition Americans in Florence? Thanks to the Propp card mechanism and to our imagination, we will discover that stories are countless: it’s up to us invent plots that always change!
The workshop, created by the Educational Department of Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi, is set at the Oblate Library. This activity is part of a larger program in which Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi and the Oblate Library work together to propose new initiatives, aimed at an audience of children and young people.
Activity is free and is only available in Italian.
